Good evening lovelies,
It’s now early hours of Wednesday morning but no matter, I’m here to answer this week’s questions!
What Is TMI Tuesday?
TMI Tuesday is a series of questions generated by TMI Tuesday Blog. It is a great way to meet other bloggers and to share some thoughts and experiences. It is important to remember that there are no right or wrong answers to these questions, only the answers of the author – and that’s part of what makes this tag so awesome!
How To Play TMI Tuesday
Copy the TMI Tuesday questions below to your webspace (i.e., a blog). Answer the questions there, then leave a comment below, on this blog post, so we’ll all know where to read your responses. Please don’t forget to link to tmituesdayblog from your website!
Send Us Your Questions!
Do you have something you’ve been itching to ask? Maybe something food-related, something a little bit kinky or something completely random? Have fun with it, then be sure to check back next Tuesday for our answers!
Your questions will be answered by BOTH of us, unless addressed otherwise. You can leave your questions in the comments below or, if you prefer anonymity, you can email us at email@example.com.
1. Who do you prefer to discuss politics with?
b. best friend
I’m going to have to say f. No-one. Matt and I are a bit different politically, and my mother and brother are different to me again. Even if I define myself as a marginally-left political centrist, I prefer not to get invived in political talk as I nearly always get pressured to make some left-leaning sentiment that I may not necessarily agree with. I’m a liberal pro-Brexiter – you just can’t win with me!
2. Which is more offensive to you: book burning or flag burning? Why?
I’m going to go against the grain here, but I’m going to say flag-burning. In our digital age, more people are reading on digital devices and not everyone places emphasis on books, but when it comes to flags, I feel that flags represent countries, and countries are very large groups of people. To me, burning a flag usually demonstrates a detest for a country and I’d like to think (and it is a dream!) that we can use things like talking, sharing and social media to reach out to one another and overcome our differences. Like I said, it is a dream!
3. Complete the sentence. Most of all, I want to meet someone who deserves my _____ :
Logically, I’d say a, but I’m going to go with b. I already have people that I trust (called family), but outside of that? I’m not going to lie, I’m not always loyal. I’m loyal to a fault, but once you waste my time, lie to me or talk bad of me and I find out, I won’t even argue, I’m just gone because the way I see it, if you can’t respect someone enough not to talk smack about them behind thier back then you don’t deserve thier time, not even for arguing. I want to surround myself with good, honest, real people, not toxic, two-faced ones.
4. Which kind of fidelity (being faithful) is more important to you?
c. Neither is important.
d. Both are equally important.
At first, I was going to say b, but then I came down to d, both are equally important. A partner who is supportive but sexually unfaithful is a risk for STDs, and a partner who is just awful for your heart. You need someone you can count on, and count on not to give you something nasty!
5. Would you avoid all contact with an ex if your current significant other asked you to?
a. Yes, of course!
b. No. This would be an unacceptable demand.
c. Only if their justification seems reasonable.
That would have to be c. I trust that Matt has my best interests at heart, so I’d trust that there would ne good reason for him to ask so much of me. I don’t have anything to do with my exes anyway after one stalked me for five months after I ended the relationship and the other left me to go live with his Mum in Ireland, Naturally, I don’t feel the need to stay in touch with either of them anymore.
Bonus: If you were to die, the person going through your belongings would be shocked to find _____ ?
I think, my Christening gown. God knows why I have it. My Mum gave it to me when I was about 22 and I was just like “uhh.. cool, thanks.”. Maybe she thinks I’ll slim back into it or something?
Alright lovelies, I hope you enjoyed this post. I’m sorry it’s a bit short and sweet today but I am knackered! It’s bed for me now and up bright and early tomorrow to fix up the hallway after the dog bought down the coat rail. True to my former neighbour’s word – a woman’s work is never done!
Stay safe & have fun,
