Hello guys!
Another Tuesday another TMI. I hope you are all well!
We had good news in the UK we finally have a plan out of lockdown so we finally have a glimmer of hope we can go back to some sort of normality and maybe have a pint in a bar!
Today’s TMI is called It’s definitely you. Hope you enjoy it!
1. For you, what would be the worst store to have a $1,000 gift card for?
For me, it would be somewhere like Harrods (think Bloomingdales or Macy’s in the US) as its too upmarket, or Waterstones as I’m not much of a reader. Plus, if I wanted a book I would probably download it and read it on my tablet.
2. Besides a raise or more vacation time, what is the best perk a company can offer you?
The most important things that a company can offer me is progression, as I would not be able to stay within a role if I feel there is no progression. The second thing I would need is to feel valued. Within a big company, you can easily just feel like you’re just another cog. I like to feel as though I am making a difference.
3. What are you most likely very wrong about?
I’m not sure how to answer this one, to be honest. I have probably been wrong about a lot of things in my years. I think when I was young I trusted too easily and as a result, I got hurt by people who I thought were my friends.
4. What is something you borrowed but never gave back?.
I try not to borrow things and not give back. I know it’s going to sound bad but the only thing I can think of is when I have borrowed money (never a massive amount) and both parties have forgotten so I and so I have never given it back.
Bonus: What have you struggled with your entire life?
Self-confidence is the biggest thing I have struggled with all my life. I believe it stemmed from being bullied in school and since then I have constantly struggled with my self-confidence and mental health. It’s sad to think that something that happened so long ago is still affecting me, but it does. Hopefully with time its something I can work on and resolve.
Well, that’s my question for this week. Hope you all have a good week.
Stay safe and speak to you next week
Matt
